Books in a question mark

What We Want

We want non-fiction books. Specifically:

  1. self help books, and
  2. how-to books.

We might also publish certain types of humor.

If you're an expert in a given area and have written a book about it, let us know. If you've spotted a problem and have written a book to solve it, let us know. If you know something that others need to know and have written a book about it, again, let us know.

The topic might be anything from photography through to how to breed a specific sub-species of llama for profit. It's up to you, but you've got a better chance of success if the book you've written targets a specific niche.

Possible Examples

  • How to grow a particular sub-group of orchids.
  • How to save money in a recession.
  • How to win a dog show.
  • Interview techniques that work.
  • Dealing with agoraphobia.
  • How to build rockets.
  • How to craft models out of glass.

The possible list is endless. If you're still unsure, just ask and we'll tell you. Submit a summary here.

If it's what we're looking for, we'll ask for the complete manuscript.

How you present your topic is up to you. It might be written as a textbook, or as a personal memoir detailing your experience within the topic. Our only criteria are that it has to be professionally written and useful to the intended audience - and at least 20 000 words long.

What We Don't Want

We don't want fiction. That means no short stories, poetry, novels or anything else that doesn't fit within the criteria listed above. Maybe sometime in the future we'll start working on ways to market this sort of thing, but right now we simply can't.

We also don't accept anything that isn't written to a professional standard.
